I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to the organizers of GDG Cloud Edmonton for giving me the opportunity to speak at DevFest 2024 on November 22nd. It was truly an honor to present “Power Up with Apps Script & Gemini AI” to such an enthusiastic and engaged audience.
DevFest is more than just a conference; it’s a global celebration of technology, innovation, and community. These events, hosted by Google Developer Groups (GDGs) worldwide, are uniquely special because they’re organized by passionate community members who are dedicated to learning, building, and connecting developers from all walks of life. The atmosphere at GDG Cloud Edmonton’s DevFest was electric, filled with curiosity and the shared excitement of exploring new technological horizons.
My session on leveraging Apps Script in conjunction with Gemini AI aimed to showcase how we can build smarter, more efficient applications. The insightful questions and lively discussions that followed were a testament to the vibrant developer community in Edmonton. It’s always inspiring to see so many minds eager to push the boundaries of what’s possible with code and creativity.
I want to extend a special thank you to the volunteers and organizers who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make this event a success. Your dedication does not go unnoticed, and it’s the reason why events like DevFest continue to thrive and make a significant impact in our industry.
